Customs seizes sausages hidden in faked dirty diapers
A Texas woman was fined by U.S. Customs after she tried to smuggle links of sausage across the border in what appeared to be soiled baby diapers.
The 21-year-old Mission resident, who was not identified, declared the loaded diapers at the international bridge in Hidalgo, but did not tell inspectors they contained links of chorizo, a spicy pork sausage.
Inspectors were suspicious and looked inside before seizing the makings of a barbecue and fining the woman $300 after the Friday night incident.
Got caught; oh poopie.
