start/run, type "msconfig," click ok, go to startup tab, start unchecking. be careful not to turn off your antivirus. after you uncheck everything, click ok then click reboot. if something is still on that you dont want, go back and find it and uncheck it. conversely, if something does not come up that you want, go back in and check it.
