College question.
Ok, so here's my problem.
I'm in advanced college algebra with calc. I'm fucking horrible in math. I go to Bradley University and my major is Physical Therapy, which is the strong point here, outside of engineering, so the curriculum is nuts.
Well in my math class, i've been getting perfect grades on all of my quizzes and homework grades, which are out of 10 points, so I wasn't too concerned with this class.
We just had our midterm which was out of FUCKING 200 points, and I got like a 95/200 on the bitch. The midterm was worth like half of our grade so far.
This dropped me from a 92% to a 62%. For the most part, i'm thinking that's a D, no problem. But not in this class. 74% is a D-, 73% is an F.
I just added up the total points for the next half of the semester, and if i get all of the points, i'll have an 82 C-. So realistically, I'm going to get a D in this class, or an F.
I don't want to fuck up my GPA, so i figure i'll just drop it and get a W or whatever. Problem is, i'm only taking 14 hours and dropping it would put me at 11 hours which isn't considered full time if i'm not mistaken.
What are my options here?
sorry for the long read

Depends on if you're on financial aid or not. If you are, talk to a financial aid advisor and they can tell you what the consequences will be for going from FT to PT status. When I was at a cheaper college and not eligible for FA, I just paid full price out of pocket so if I dropped the class by their deadline, I got a 100% refund. However, I'm sure that deadline is way before midterm time...
talk to your professor, explain the situation and that you just had a bad test.
if that doesn't help any.. talk to your advisor.
that works too. don't drop it if you're gonna lose financial aid and shit. withdrawing blows. just fail and take it again

I forgot to mention:
I'm transferring to Southeastern Louisiana University next semester. I need a 2.0 gpa for transfer, and with my act score a 3.0 for a full ride.
my grades at midterm:
Religious Studies - A x 3 hours
Advanced college algebra/calc F x 3 hours
Music appreciation B x 3 hours
Advanced chemistry C x 3 hours
Structures of Physical Therapy A x 0 hours :wtc:
Advanced chemistry lab A x 1 hour
For semester i'll try to get chem up to b, and music up to a, but that's going to be hard shit.
