Has anyone ever trasnferred a domain away from GoDaddy?

How long does it typically take?

I have a transfer pending and it's been in status "Transfer Pending - Awaiting Release by Current Registrar" since last night. :squint:

hmmm, knowing the way godaddy does things could be a week. could be 4 weeks.

are you transferring the dns or did you buy the domain name on another place?

A friend is giving me the name and I'm transferring it to myself. He already received and acknowledged the transfer authorization email so I'm just waiting on GoDaddy to do their thing.
