Having owned a plasma for 2 years and having nothing but problems (on 4 different TVs) and researching that people are having similar issues all over the place w/ the Plasma technology, I vote no.

Nice choice that's a good tv. If I were to buy a LCD TV I would probably get a Sharp. Or a nice big Sony if I had a lot of extra cash.

Personally I prefer plasmas tho. So I have a Panasonic right now. I would really like a Pioneer Elite tho

Don't get me wrong...when the plasma was working well, I loved it. The flicker f/ burn-in and the degrading picture quality over time with each of the 4 sets has scared me away though.
