I am happy to see the Blue Angels in the air again! I missed them this year at SD. But our airshow is ALWAYS cloud covered...

Great pictures. What was the story with the old F-86 Sabre?

Anyway...I miss being up there to see them in person.

Im not sure. The F-16 was showing off then the F-86 came out of nowhere. Then they performed a simulated dogfight showcasing the maneuverability of the F-16.

I know The Snowbirds performed with a missing man due to a fatal crash a week ago. RIP.

I watched the blue angels rehearse and perform from my office window. The air base is like 2 miles from me.

No. F-86 Sabre.
Older than the F-4 by about 10 years.
Saw action mostly in Korea.
