I think I'm going back tonight to pickup NBA 2K9. Thought I could wait till Socom is released on Tuesday but there are a bunch of guys at work that just picked up 2K9 and are playing.

I used to say the same. I still have my 360 for Gears and other gaming. But games are definitely coming around for the PS3.

meh....most games that people want are out for the 360 as well. I still see no reason to own a PS3 when I have an Xbox 360. Blu-Ray players are $150 now these days aren't they?

the 1.0's are on clearance ... so you might be able to find a dated machine for less.
