Default scotch/whiskey crew?
I'm looking into buying a good bottle to sip on.

I think I'm going to go with the balvenie 15 (had it a few times and absolutely love it), but I was wondering what else to check out in the price range ($65 - 70).

It's starting to get cold, and that's my favorite time for a good sipper. I drink it straight up - no rocks, water, etc. if that changes the suggestion.

Bought me the 17yr Sherry Oak last night and FAWK is it delicious!!!!

I would instantly buy another bottle of:
Macallen 15yr fine oak
Balvenie 12 and 17yr
Oban 14

Ballantines 15yr old was the last scotch that i picked up. tastes pretty decent. I heard their 21yr one is yummay11!!
