Congrats on the pick up. An ex-buddy of mine used to own one...for a couple weeks. I guess the guy that sold it to him had done some "custom fab work" to the radiator and the car overheated on the highway and the motor blew up.

The car has been solid, even with a 30 minute each way commuting to work everyday. Hell, the GVR4 idles better than my Accord does. Once I get the boost leak sorted out and can get a hold of a old laptop for logging, I'll run the boost at 15psi.

Oh yea, and I need a hood and sunroof glass!!!!!!!

I had a buddy who had a pristine model VR4 that he modded to the gills. Even with all new parts, shit was ALWAYS breaking down. He eventually dumped it but made a good profit on it. It was definitely quick but didn't inspire super confidence, even on rcomps, a roll cage and a full suspension
