i have an LG VX8800 aka venus and lately it's starting to piss me the fuck off. all of a sudden the 1, 4, 7, and * keys dont work every so often. and when they do work if i press one of them the phone dials all 4 keys over and over and over. so i end up with jumbled 147*147* all over my screen.

i have insurance for the phone so can i just take it in and get a replacement of the same phone or have them fix it? i asked my sister and she said she's not sure whether they'll give me the same phone or a cheaper version.

Take it to Verizon and they'll just get a new one out and give it to you.

They will always give you the same phone(Might be refurbished if they stop making it)

On some but rare occasions if they dont have the phone they'd upgrade you to the next model. Happened to me one time.

They wont give you the same phone. For $50 you get a refurb...if its discontinued, they give you a comparable one. Yours is pretty new, so I am sure youll just get another used Venus

ya i went to the store yesterday and got a new refurbed one free. although it seems like the backlighting on a few buttons either dont work or are very low. :squint:

oh well at least all the buttons work now.
