Default ChainSaw....I need one, recommendations?

Price around 150 and under. I got a down tree in the backyard and I'm not going to pay someone 500 bucks to remove it. It's about 12 feet long and the branch and trunk is not thick. What is a good chainsaw to buy?

under 150 bucks?

good luck ...

how big a tree?

honestly your best bet is to start searchin for a used one, craigslist or something.
cuz a new one for under 150 is not going to do what you need if you could find one that price

The second one is a little less powerful but is less expensive and got better ratings.

the branches are pretty thin and the trunk is not thick either, so i figured I don't need a massive 500 chainsaw to do the job.

we talkin just like 12" trunk here or less?

chainsaws ... decent chainsaws tend to be very expensive. my pops just bought a nice husqvarna the other day ... 400 bucks :/

puts my lil 16" husqvarna to shame. if its not too big a tree and odds are you rarely are going to use the saw one of those craftsmen ones would work. and like you said its just so you dont have to spend 500 to pay someone.

if you were nearby i'd lend you big beech ... 3ft blade ... got a damn scooter motor on the thing. but it cuts wood like butter

Just get an electric one, that's what i use to chop down and trim trees. Now that i think of it, i need a new chain for it, it's dull os a butter knife.

Make sure it can cut through human flesh, who knows when the zombies will arrive.
