Took my little sister to school, came back home, half asleep but obeying all traffic lights and speed limit laws, this bike cop bust a u turn and comes after me. I saw him at first but didn't make anything of it because I wasn't doing anything wrong...so i thought.

Came up to me and said good morning and the reason why I pulled you over is because your front tint is too dark. OK. I'll agree with that, so I'm expecting to get a fix it ticket and be on my way. Nope. Ask if i had any modifications under the hood. I replied, I do, legit bar swap motor. I showed it to him, he's somewhat satisfied and wrote me up for front tint and exhaust(greddy sp2 catback).

Proceeds to tell me that my fpr is illegal and carries a 2k fine. I told him, no problem, I'll get it taken care of soon. This basically did it for me, being terrified to drive my car around. Had it been a normal car, I don't think he would look twice. So I made the decision to get rid of my 5 year old 93 Si/b16a3. I'm gonna start stripping it down and selling it off. Getting out of the hobby completely. :woohoo:

I was pondering selling it as a whole but after I announced it to my friends, who most are in disbelief, got dibs on some parts. I will more then likely return the Si back to factory form and sell it then, otherwise, as a whole with all my parts, I don't think i would get much since the car chassis itself has well over 200k but not a single rust spot, gotta thank cali weather for that. :rockon:

Things like this make me glad I sold my Integra. I was tired of getting speeding tickets while not speeding

My favorite is that if you ever show up to court to fight the ticket, the cop always makes sure to mention all of the modifications to your car, even though their legal, under the idea of implying modifications make you prone to illegal driving.
