if you kill it with "one of the humane ways", yes thier are laws for that, peta can't say shit. they will probably try to take you to court and stuff, but there are licensed killers in some states and would be your best bet to do it.

i know florida has licensed boar hunters cause wild boars are a problem in some places. and they catch em and kill them humianly.

if i wanna butcher my own livestock i will ... let them try and take me to court. the only reason we dont butcher our own pigs is we dont have anywhere to let the meat cure
as for that second part, in MI if you see a wild pig you can shoot it and keep it
