VGA has the ability to carry 2X more bandwidth than component. 2X more bandwidth = more data hitting your screen.

Remember, 2X more bandwidth is 2X more information for the 360 to stream. With all of that processing, you can hit visual lag. It might not make a huge difference when playing solo, but when playing Team Snipes on H3, forget about it. You'll be scoping on targets that aren't there anymore.

My suggestion is to hook them both up. Switch connections depending on what game you're playing.

Yeah i'll only go with 1. Thinking Composit... i dont want to go over board and switch connection depending on what game i play. i'll be ok with just composit i think.

Composite will look horrible on an HDTV compared to VGA, Component, HDMI, and S-video.

i hope you mean component. composite is not HD.

and on the xbox video connector, there's a little switch that you have to change to have it in HD.

if he purchased the core console, I think he's stuck with the composite cables (red, yellow, white).

If not, then follow flippy.

Component  Ok let me clear it up... i bought it in 2005 as a core. SO i only have the stupis RCA cable with it.

I can just buy the Component Cable and it would be ok right? Cause you are right the normal RCA(yellow video, red and white audio) suck.

You'll immediately notice the difference when you switch the component, last time I used composite was with my Super Nintendo!
