If her head was removed, all they had to do was put it back on and she regenerates it back Remember when the dad got killed? He was dead, but her blood brought him back.

 

He doesn't know, he would like to think so because now he thinks he's immortal too.

Her power requires her head to still be in place with her body I think...basically if you cut her head off, her powers are still working but they have to be attach to the body in order for it to heal it Although she can regrow limbs but I dunno to what extent.

Remember in the first season when she got that shit stuck to her head? She was dead, she couldn't regenerate.... when they took it out... she came back to life

 

so if you cut her head off and threw it in the sea, she is technically dead. How about total disintegration?
