Considering painting my shutters/garage. Opinions wanted.
Well my front door (not shown) needs a fresh coat of paint but I'm also not feeling the blue that came on the house. There is a similar house but has a shade darker color siding further back in the neighborhood that has a black/tan theme going and I think it looks really good.
So...here are a couple quick photoshops. I like the black but don't care for the brick colored brick h:. So I'm thinking maybe it might look better painted white? What do you think? I know the white ps'ed brick is crappy looking but I'm sure it would turn out better in person. BTW, I think it would also look good with my neighbors shade brick to the right of me. Is there a coating I can throw on mine to make it that way?
I'm doing minor home improvements now since the weather is cooling down. Today I put up a new dining room light and did some interior trim painting. I'll probably tackle this project in the next week or two so I'm throwing out ideas now.
How it sits now.

Yea I think the white brick looks kind of bad. I did just talk to a friend that works at Lowes and they said there is some sort of stain to make it look like my neighbors. I think the black will look good with that colored brick.
