btw these are the 'cheap' tomtoms.. ie they say "turn right in 500meters" instead of "in 500 meters turn right on main street"

to get one that says street names youhave to pay even more (the one i got for my mom was the tomtom one 130S but it was on sale for 199 now its 249)

 

does it really matter? i mena i 'm looking into it for myself and i can't justify an additionnal $100 for it to say ste-cahterine all fucked up cause its a french name

 

i dunno.. for my mom it was, her eye's arent great, so the voice commands help... she won't look at the map all that much anyway...

i see what you mean by the f'd up street names.. but they do have french language packs
