Friday night I went to a bachelor party for one of my college friends. We started with dinner and drinks at a local irish pub then we headed to a BYO adult entertainment establishment later that night. I am not a big fan of those clubs because they are a money trap but I ended up getting a couch dance from one of the hottest women there. When she propositioned me I joked with her about how in some places, the dancers will alter the timer and not give the customer their full four minutes. She laughed and told me I could audit the timer and push the button to start the show. When we walked back the bouncer in the couch room was pissed at some dude so when i paid, I told him that I was not looking to get kicked out and would be on my best behavior. He laughed, told me he appreciated it. When I started the show I asked the dancer the rules, she called me a gentleman and proceeded to give me one kick ass couch dance. It was fantastic.
Saturday was low-key because of all the rain but around 10:00 I went and hung out with my neighbor Joe and his girlfriend in their apartment. The night was slowing down around 11:30 when I suggested we all go to the corner bar. Joe was down but his girlfriend was about to pass out, so we left her behind. At the bar we were hanging out, drinking some beer and playing penthouse photo hunt when these two girls and a guy walk in, and sit next to us. Both girls were cute and the guy was a loud talker, telling embellished stories as the two women hung on to every word he said. Eventually he got up to go to the bathroom and I started talking to the two girls. There was a blonde and brunette, and they were roommates that lived a few blocks away. I forget how the conversation started but I cracked some joke and the blonde defended the brunette saying she worked a 12 hour shift today and her boyfriend had broken up with her a few days ago. And that I should give her a break. I recovered by saying her friend had an excellent game face and then their guy friend came back from the bathroom.
My friend Joe and I took that as a queue to grab a smoke and the guy friend ended up joining us momentarily after we went outside. We found out he was from the south and was having a tough time adjusting to life in a northeast city but he was less of a douche than we originally thought. And that he was dating the blonde. After our smoke we head back into the bar and continue to play photo hunt. I ask the cute brunette if she has ever played photo hunt before. She said she was real good and I invited her to play, telling her that we wanted to break the top score tonight. We play one game, and I learned that we went to the same college and that she was a nurse. She was a sweet girl and we ended up crushing the high score. Then she and her two friends head out for a smoke and my friend Joe and I stayed back drinking our beer. It was about 1:00 AM when they came back in, and they made motions that they were heading out so I ask the brunette if she is leaving. She says yes and I tell her that she should give me her number so we can hang out again sometime. She hesitates and I say we have a lot in common such as living in the same neighborhood and going to the same school. Their guy friend calls me out and asks me if I am really trying to pick up his friend. Without hesitation I look him in the eye and say yes I am. He starts laughing and says he admires my style and appreciates the honesty. Finally, the brunette says, "well we are neighbors" and I follow up with "and I admire nurses and the underappreciated job that they do."
