I went to this Dave and Busters type joint called Firkin Keglers tonight. When I pulled up there was only valet parking... which for sure as hell I wasn't going to pay for a DB's rip off... and after asking the valet where I can park then, he told me next door at this day school called Star Child.


He told me since it was Saturday I could park there so I did. Came out later. Car was gone. I called the company after I found a tow sign and it's a car repair place who also does towing that I have dealt with since I moved to Orlando 5 years ago.



My problem is that first the valet told me to park there, so I did. Granted he was probably pissed that I didn't want to pay him. Second this tow place is a company that I dealt with for almost if not 5 years now getting repairs done.


What do you think I should do? I called the tow place and all the guy would say was it's $160 base plus $20 per day that they have it. He said call back monday and talk to someone else. That's an extra $40! Anyone have any experience with anything like this? Help me out!

call D&B, talk to the manager and throw a fit and demand to be reimbursed since you were instructed to park there

In the meantime, I'd either pay them and get the car back as soon as possible, to cut your losses, and then talk to the manager of both places in an attempt to be reimbursed, or just leave it there until Monday, and do the same.

WHat pisses me off is all I remember is that a blonde chick came up to my car to valet it when I asked and I asked her where I could park without paying and some guy who also worked there told me where to park. I couldn't describe their faces or tell their names.

I might just try to talk to them reasonably to get my car brought back on a misunderstanding, and if not I will rain a hell fire of fury on these fuckers. How can you tell me to park somewhere and then I get towed?
