Are you getting to choose the games or do they force you to play them?

Bit of both. I don't do systematic testing of games. I just test things that I hear about from the various support channels and test them out. Also, I need to have a better grip on upcoming products, and it helps build relationships with the group I have to work with, so I can pick the games I want to work with when I don't have more pressing matters.

Not at all. I got my degree in Environmental Studies from UCSC. I just worked through college as a computer technician, and I just kinda got stuck in that field.

I might use the tuition reimbursement programs to start taking engineering classes at the local university though.
