The girlfriend left this morning at 3, and said that she hasn't gone over 35 on the interstate, and is averaging speed at 15mph. I guess they opened the other two lanes on 55 going south for traffic to head north. Shit sounds crazy.

I was in a 65 foot boat 100 miles off shore in winds above 120 knots, but it was after November 1 so it wasn't called a hurricane...pretty bouncy out there.

i've never understood why they don't always just do that. on the news you see thousands of cars trying to go north and no cars going the other way, just open that shit up.
