Default Brain Candy?

Anyone heard of this stuff?

Pretty damn cool. You can play a video game using only your eyes and brain as a controller.

Shit is getting too damn advanced. :noes:

I didn't listen to the audio but I'll assume its an EEG. I did a laboratory project on EEG control with something very similar -- I interfaced to the mouse cursor and I could reach any corner of the screen using eye control. Signal is damn noisy though so currently its really tough to get complex motions out of brain signals. There is a lot of literature on decomposing the signals, but its just so damn noisy. If it works, I can already think of a billion cool applications this could be used in and I'm really glad someone was able to make something useful with whats available!

Actually if it runs off of brainwave traits it could be potentially used to train drivers to not go into a dazed state during driving.

Say they put it on, it attaches to the car, and by means of keeping their brain out of the gutter while driving they can receive insurance incentives or something.

But it will be hooked up to phones and computers first long before they'll have them as a key to the car.
