Werd. If people really wanted to hump a tree, they'd import a european shitbox diesel (VW Polo, for instance, gets 75+ mpg on plain old pump diesel), do a wvo conversion and have less environmental impact than a flatulant cyclist.

You can also add the 94-97 ford diesels to the list of vehicles that got better mileage than their newer models do...hmmm

Gas engines run at much lower compression rate so it needs a more volatile fuel.
BTW vegetable oil run through diesel engines is carbon neutral for all those tree hugging hippies who are going to say diesels are the debbil...so I do more for the environment in one day than a fleet of Prius' will do in ten lifetimes.
