Werd. If people really wanted to hump a tree, they'd import a european shitbox diesel (VW Polo, for instance, gets 75+ mpg on plain old pump diesel), do a wvo conversion and have less environmental impact than a flatulant cyclist.

You know the funny thing about that is that the TDI gets almost 10mpg better mileage in european trim than US trim and still is a low emissions vehicle.

really makes you wonder how concerned the US really is with fuel consumption.

You can also add the 94-97 ford diesels to the list of vehicles that got better mileage than their newer models do...hmmm
