Default HDMI laptop crew

I just picked up a Gateway this weekend and its so bad ass compared to my 5 year old Dell laptop. I was streaming netflix onto my HDTV in surround sound. anyone else rocking the HDMI laptop?

No but those now Sony FW 16:9 laptops with HDMI and additional blu-ray look real sleek. For the low $1000s with new Centrino tech it looks like a good value

the laptop my sis got this weekend has the HDMI output ... can't wait to try it out seems like a nice feature, sound and everything right through the single cable instead of a vga / line out setup

yes for computer monitors that can show the higher resolutions. hdmi makes things easier since there is only 1 cable for both audio and video
