Default garage sale FTW

I've made $553 so far and we're not done until 4 pm today. :woohoo:

I can't believe I always used to just donate to Goodwill. :hs:

Yeah, giving to others is ghey. Selling crap you no longer want to others, that's a milkshake I'd like to suck on.

Hmmm...might have to do that. I live in a complex and could always set one up and see if people would come etc...

What sort of shit have you sold/selling?

I've sold all sorts of random stuff. Here's just a sample of what I can remember:

a black leather couch

a kitchen dinette set

a wooden desk

two wooden bookcases

an original NES with 3 games

my old 3.2 MP Olympus digital camera

some Michael Jordan cards and memoribilia (I didn't really want to sell these. I opened the big container that I store all my sports collectibles in and forget to close it and some guy started looking through. An hour later and a lot of negotiating and I let some of it go. :hs:

and all sorts of other random home decor/CD's/books/whatever

I didn't think it would be nearly this successful. This is the first garage sale I've had since I was like 10. h:

Damn that is pretty good. I hate negotiating with some of the yard sale addicts though.

How much for the red 94 teg?

I did it to the bar I work at once. And a random neighbour once too. It's in their yard now.

It's fun to see people all mystified like its magic or something
