Default Potential car for me to buy.......

I've been looking for a new car for a little bit until I get some money together. My brother is a salesman at an Infiniti dealer and they just got an 03 Jetta wolfsburg edition at their sister dealer across the street. It has the 1.8T engine and a 5 speed. Now, heres the kicker, its red. Do you guys think a red Jetta is a little girly? I can get a killer deal on it, but thats my only concern and I needed some second opinions on it. TIA.

men who are comfortable with their manhood dont need impractical 2 seater convertibles to validate their manhood h:

examples of not girly red jettas....

drive the car, you will love it.

My girlfriend has an 04, the dark grey colored 1.8T. Although it seems like they crammed too much stuff in a small space, it is a bitch to clean, and I hate the wheels - I like it. suspension feels suprisingly solid for OEM.

I like red, fuck what everybody else thinks.

How long are you planning on keeping the car?

:werd: the mk4 vw chassis IMO is great, very firm... it took some getting used to after driving all dual wishbones and the extra weight gives you more understeer than you would get in something lighter, say a honda/acura.... but there are easy fixes for that or you can just get used to it...

edit: hey look it has heated cloth too

The front suspension on Jettas always seemed "poppy" to me- over every filled crack and minor imperfection in the road something always seemed toyish about how it responded and call me anal but I never liked that

i know what you mean.... i had a mk4 jetta and some of the bushings wore out... it made it feel clunky. once i had em replaced, the car tightened right up the way it should.

I would get it - but as you can see by my choice of car, what people think about my sexual preference isn't my main concern.

I drove my friend to southern Indiana to drop him off at his new truck HQ, and we took his car. 04 Jetta 1.8T, the car was so nice to drive and it handled well in every aspect.

The only thing I didn't like was the small steering wheel.

Go for it!
