GMAT Krew
What kind of strategies? I am familiar with high pressure situations involving math, as I work in banking and it is not uncommon to calculate a ratio on the fly. My main concern is re-learning the theories and formulas required for the math section. I took a self-diagnosis test and was embarrassed that I forgot how to factor :doh:
i am not talking abuot saving time by quickly finding the answer. 100% of the questions are designed to make you pick the wrong answer right of the bat. it's hard to actually describe it with words, but data sufficiency questions own me personally, and they tell you how to tackle those like knife through warm butter.
I took it late last year. I consider myself fairly mathematically inclined, so I focused all my studies on the verbal. Well, I ended up sucking ass on the math section which dragged down my overall score. I'll be taking it again in November.
dont have to break your head over any crazy formulas. the most difficult formulas you'd be using are nothing more than area perimeter shit for geometry ( they wont go too crazy into figures like trapeziums, etc)

How long do your scores stay on your report?
http://rankings.ft.com/global-mba-rankings , because they are;
a. resourceful
b. have it down to numbers
c. quite accurate
To be realistic I did not plan on applying to the top 10; because with my academic performance (did not graduate with honors) coupled with only 2 year work experience would probably not get me in (please do consider AMPLE time wasted to write their essays to like fucking perfection and etc to even think about getting in). So IMHO please narrow down your choices so you can focus better on your way into the program in the few places you have chosen.
So back to me picking a college. My Top 3 preferences :-
1. IMD - Switzerland (No doubt the most epic college for an MBA. It is next to impossible to get even to the interview process, let alone getting into the school... but like 99% of their alumi are like very successful independant entrepreneurs.
2. London Business School - EMBA in Dubai - I reviewed the program while I was in Dubai and it is a very intensive course which educates you with a ton of MBA concepts with several specializations along with a variety of managerial classes. To top if off it allows you to simultaneously work in the very broad and sucessful Dubai market while you attened college.
3. Indian School of Business - This was a record breaking school to ever appear on the B-school charts from no rank to 20th. It is in my hometown. It is affiliated with Kelloggs, Wharton and London Business School. So bacically it's close to me + all in one package. (and i work here, so I might get my tution taken care of by my company)
