1/4 mile dragstrips in socal?

1/4 mile dragstrips in socal?
i've never gone to a track and ran a timed quarter mile... what places in socal do you guys recommend? and do you have to take a class or wear a helmet when you do a quarter mile?

Closed do to a noise ordinance if I remember correctly. The only race they have there now is the NHRA I think, and maybe other pro events every once in a while. Fontana is the only one left I think.

ive been out of the loop for a while, so im not sure how often they have track days anymore. i would take a look at their site, also you are required to wear a helmet to run there.
