The Second American Revolution
i like the part. cant we just all be plain americans.
i also agree, we should worry about ourselves instead about everyone else. been saying that for years.
yeah there are some "racist" thoughts in there, but i know where he is coming from.
his thinking = i grew up in this country learning english, why should i have to learn spanish with all these people coming in, I have been here longer. my relatives when they came to this country in the 1800's had to learn english. when in rome do as roman's do or get the fuck out.

There was nothing racist in any of the statements made. A lot of that came from a book called "common sense" written by one of our founding fathers named Thomas Paine in the 1700's before we declared our independence from England. Unlike many of the founding fathers he was one of the only ones to put his foot down on issues like slavery, women’s rights etc. This guys is just trying to show that we as a people are no longer united as a people. And in particular he is pointing out that those who are supposed to be looking out for our best interests are sending the country down the shitter because they're not listening to us.

When my mother came to the states she taught herself English, then when the time came she took her citizenship test in English without anybody translating for her. She spoke English better than most people around her, albeit with a European accent. She despised people who would not try to learn English, and her philosophy was pretty much "You are here in America, speak English or get out."

^ Indeed. I've never understood how all our ancestors learned English, and yet some people think that expecting the people who come to live here (the vast majority of which are good, hard-working people) to learn English is somehow racist or insensitive.
To my knowledge, none of my ancestors came from English-speaking countries. (i.e. no English ancestry)
I got tired of and stopped watching the vid after a minute and 1/2 though
