i usually have my phone on vibrate though. i'll put it on the ringer if i'm walking somewhere, because i can't feel it.

you cant put ringtones on it like normal, and you cant use your mp3's alltel has it locked down.

i used to have my blackberry through tmobile but im on alltel now, i'm on my parents family plan, saves me a TON of money. $35 vs $105

 

alltell doesn't let you use mp3s?

 

on some i think yes, but on the scoop they locked it out. they dont tell you this either.

i can put mp3s on my sd card and listen to them but i cant use them as ringtones. howardforums has a hella long thread about people and this issue. you have to get into the system files and do these certain steps to get around alltels lock. only way to get custom ringtones without buying them from alltel.

did not know this before i bought the phone, but not really a big deal. since im usually on vibrate anyways

for text alerts I've got Terry Tate office linebacker telling me "You've got mail baby! woooooooo!!!"
I've also got the dukes of hazzard guys yelling yeeee haaawww as the general lee's horn is going off.

when the boss calls I've got it setup for office space when Lumburg calls Peter on his answering machine. it cracks me up everytime.
