Default home based web server on dynamic ip

anybody here host there own web server? I have a spare p4 tower laying around and was thinking about running it as a web server for my web page and file server. I have been doing a bunch of reading online, but alot of it is still like portugese to me. Didn't know if anybody already had one setup that could give me a bit of run down, or a good place resource for information other than Google. (RB)

Apache FTW...I have an Apache server that I run my php apps on at home and I have a Windows Server 2003 box that I host all of my asp.net apps on...for a beginner, Apache is where it's at. Server 2003 has a HUGE learning curve. I highly suggest running WAMP if this is your first server. Wamp gives you Apache, PHP, and MySQL all in one easy to install package.
