The Olympic Games are starting in a few days.

Predictions on medal counts?
My guess will be no different than the last olympics with USA/CHINA/RUSSIA leading the way. Mainly because they send SOO many atheltes.

My favorite events are usually the Track/field type with the 100m dash as the top, then the marathon. Sadly a lot of good marathon runners have pulled out of the olympics because of China's pollution levels and the fear of damage it might do to their lungs... :hs:

Speaking of which, many countries have had athelets pull out because of this problem. Also i heard equestrian participants are not sending their horses because of fear of disease and pollution :ugh:

its crazy hearing about how much pollution they have out ther considering they have put so many restrictions on the cars that can travel on the roads, and how many factories can operate. I was watching a local news show and they were talking about how a producer was out there and how his eyes were burning from being outside for just a short time. Pollution is going to be the biggest story of the olympics.

 

Will be watching for sure. And I bet that Kenya will win the long distance running, Japan will take Engineering and Canada will take numero uno for being completely gay.
