How much is too much?
Been over it several times. I have learned to test the edge a bit more carefully now.

I've been dry for a while now.. chalk it up to having real responsibilities now.
Sad part is, I've stocked up the liquor/wine and beer stash since we had so many visitors.
I'm going to plan a Saturday where I'll get me and mar to:
1. Play golf
2. Go to a movie
3. Get HAMMMMMMMMER'd
4. Smoke some cigars.
Ahh.. here's to planning.

I drank just about every day for something like 4 years. Usually in pretty hefty quantities.
If you feel okay with it and it's not affecting your life or work performance, then do whatever you feel like. If you feel like it's a problem, then make a change.
I realized it was becoming a serious problem and I decided to give up drinking during the work week. It has done wonders for my health (physical for sure, mental, maybe) and definitely easy on the wallet. Bottom line, just be aware of your own limits and pay attention to the signs.
:edit: been on the straight and narrow (lol) for about 10 months now.

But I stopped getting completely ripped months ago. Waking up the next day w/o a huge hangover is quite pleasant.
