As long as you have just a little bit of "alone" time. I think a little solo time is still necessary in any relationship.

Good point, though I don't know if marriages where the people lived together are any more successful than ones where they don't. My wife and I only even dated for 3 months and we never lived together (though there were a few of those nights where I went home a little late). We've been happily married for 6 years now. I've heard stories both ways.

but say you've been dating for a long time or whatever and you decide to live together before getting married, and then if you have a big argument or something, it's easy to say you're done and move out....but if you're married, you kinda want to try and work it out before getting to that point.

I see solo time as a day alone with minimal contact, and I am guessing she would see solo time as the time we are each at each others desks...
