All that waiting and it still sucks. I went through security with a giant gatoraid that I forgot I had in my carry on. I was impressed with that...then we get back from Ireland and my sister reaches into he purse and realizes she left a knife in there. It's a foldable knife with about a 4" blade. She got through security in the US...flew to Ireland...went the Ireland security a week later and flew back

 

This is promising...

i've heard of that happening before. it shows that the news is right when they say that it's about 'the perception of security' vs. real security.

 

As long as the people that want to hurt us think there is security, than there is.

 

I want to do carry-on but I'm afraid they will throw away my cologne.

 

^check the regulations. <100ml and in a clear ziplock bag and ur ok. And I agree airport security sucks. But then again trying to secure a whole country is stupid in the first place. These security mesures will work on unorganised small criminals.
