I kinda want to start learning another language.. what languages do you all know, and what would you recommend? I'm Italian and I thought it might be nifty to know Italian, but Spanish seems more universal. I was also told that Italian would be easier after learning Spanish...

...

?

:edit: forgot to add a poll :madr:

I took french in high school for 4 years which was a waste of time. I took Japanese for a year in college. Want to be fluent in it. Know very little Spanish due to living in san Diego. Can speak Italian and German due to working in opera. Can't understand a wink of it though.

I want to continue Japanese and maybe learn Italian due to it being in my background.
