signing a 50 year old lady who has never played in the wnba to a seven day contract, so she can play like three minutes of one game doesn't seem more bizarre than the greatest basketball player of all time coming out of retirement to play a couple more seasons with his team? right.
actaully she did play in the wnba back in their first season 1997 she played on 2 olympic teams 76 and 80 i believe so this is hardly like some random celeb signing a short term contract for a publicity stunt (like billy crystal did with the yankees and Garth brooks has done with several teams)

damn she played in the 76 olympics....I wasn't even close to being conceived. I saw clips that she did play back then, but 50 years of age playing pro ball, that tells you what a joke that league is.
