Now i'm a noob at one thing. I keep hearing you guys talk about legit and so forth. How hard is it to tell if the sneakers are fake or not.

You can usually tell by the color and stitching. Most legit guys will offer a 100% guarantee is not satisfied. People who say no returns are most likely bootlegs.

Thanks for that heads up. I saw a pair and the dude kept going on about how he's legit and how if you ask him if he's legit or not he won't answer your question and he accepts no returns unless it was an error on his part. So i take it that guys stuff is knock-offs h:

- I would never rely on a seller's return policy as a way to avoid fraud. Too much trouble and risk that should be avoided in the first place.

- Buy from reputable sellers who have a strong history of selling authentic shoes

- Watch out for people who sell multiples of very rare shoes

- If the price is too good to be true, it probably is -- however there are fake sneakers that are priced as high as authentic ones, in an attempt to appear legit

- Pictures do NOT tell the entire story -- many fake sellers simply use pics of authentic ones. Make sure they have "tagged" pics of what they're selling to show they're actually in their possession.

- The average consumer will not be able to tell if a shoe is fake by the stitching, shape, etc. Even I can't tell on some models, especially non-Nikes.

True you just nailed every point perfect.:hs: I also forgot you can check web boards to see if the seller is reputable
