Just got back from the wedding, saw a bunch of people that I don't know, and some that I don't remember names of (friends of wife). Sat a table of my wife's friends from high school and college.

No, they're all around next weekend, they just know you can do things, so they say they're busy. Same with this weekend. They knew you couldn't hang out so they made it seem like they were still good friends and said they wanted to hang out, when they knew you couldn't.
