Default so I finally took my car to the body shop

to have a new rear bumper sprayed and put on. My wife backed in to another car like 6 or 7 months ago and I'm finally getting around to having it fixed. This was just for them to paint and put the new bumper on...I supplied the bumper (which cost me ~$230). Does $392 sound reasonable for the work?

paint aint cheap homey, just a rough guess the paint supplies be $150 alone minimum. thats a blue pearl right?

might be about $100 too high imo but top shops cost more :dunno:

I think I have a couple pics but they're on my phone and they suck. So imagine a big crack on the driver's side and a lot of scrapes and scuffs. The bumper had to be replaced. h:

Yeah for my Si. Fiji blue pearl...I'm sure it's not cheap. I took it to Church Brothers, which is one of the most reputable shops in Indy.

I was just tired of seeing the new bumper I bought sitting in the garage for the past 3 months.

yea it be pricey

i just looked that up in one of my sherwin stores and priced out a pint ... 111.65 over the counter mixed. you still need clear and reducer. and thats buying it from a paint supplier, not through a body shop

obviously it could be done cheaper but being you say its a top shop and its a new vehicle they arent going to use a cheap paint line.

Paint work has gone through the roof. It sounds about right.
