Saw this at a 7:30 showing Friday, was very impressed. Great performances all around, the effects were great, and Nolan stayed away from using "shaky-cam" in the fight scenes and actually gave us pretty long cuts so we could tell what was going on.

We were like the 5th through 10th people in line at the marked location outside, but the theater screwed up and let people line up by the actual indoor theater, so we kind of got jacked for seats. Like 6 or 8 high school kids tried to sneak in right in front of us without waiting in line. Yeah, I didn't let that happen. I thought a little 14-year old Mexican girl was going to fight me.

 

[spoiler=---]Yeah...I figure 2-face isn't dead either. There is no way 2-face would go down that easy.

It's tough, but a sequel COULD exist. And who knows...maybe they shot some scenes with HL that will show up in a third movie :uhhok:[/spoiler]

i REALLY hope they dont introduce any of the side characters.. ie: robin.

the joker may still be alive, but they won't bring him back because duh ledger is dead
scarecrow is still alive he had all but 10 minutes in thsi movie
two-face might be alive, not sure what else he will bring to the table tho.

penguin, mr freeze etc. are just too out there (unless they simplify them)

poison ivy, harlee quin catwoman: maybe.. women dont make very good villains imo. h:

riddler: if they can get somebody to play the riddler as well as heath ledger played joker, then i think we have a winner

In the first movie they showed an escapee from Arkham who may not have been recognized except by people who read the comics. There was a dude walking around with hatch marks etched in his skin. His name is Zsasz .. and his story in the comics is deffinatly dark enough for Nolan's version.
Not that he could be the MAIN villian.. or anyhing. But he's deffinatly fucked up enough to have a larger part.

 

And why chose such an ugly girl as a main character. First that chick from spiderman now this? At least she won't be in the next one.
