it really pisses me off when i pay for food at a restaurant and the server asks me if i need change. :squint:

It's worse when they don't bring any back, and assume that it's a tip...without asking.

 

I don't eat at restaurants where tipping is expected. :hsugh:

If you use a debit card to pay, it shouldn't be an issue.

 

There's this one restaurant that charges you before you get in, and if you pay with a card, they have the nerve to ask if you need cash back for a tip! I just say no, and don't leave a tip anyway - it's a buffet, all the waitress does is bring the drinks and biscuits..

 

i often pay with cash. it's just rude, imo, to assume you're getting a certain amount of tip. bring back my fucking change and i'll give you what i think you deserve, not what you think you deserve.

When I worked for tips, there were times when I needed a good day. No matter what I walked with, I always made sure that after the first dollar, I told myself that it was one dollar more than I walked in with.

I feel you dog. I believe it was rude as well.

 

I get that shit all the time. I generally tip a dollar or two more if the person doesn't ask.

You know what else pisses me off? Delivery fees. Pizza, for example

If I order a $8 pizza, I have to pay a $1 or $1.50 delivery fee plus a tip. WTF?
