i feel sick 
i just received a notice in the mail... the accord received a parking ticket behind a residence in an alleyway 4 days after it was stolen and 3 days before it was dumped and burned at another location.

I'd feel sick, too. How come when the meter maid punched in the license plate number to write the ticket, it's little hand-held money-maker didn't have your stolen car license plate stored in it and trigger an alarm??!!?

yeah parking maids and police departments tend to be separate entities.
they'll give parking tickets to stolen cars all the time.
it happened to the gf's cousin, who coincidentally had an accord like yours, stolen. the car had 4 parking tickets.
