Default Halp! V Internet problem

The computer I am on most of the time has an odd problem.

I can use pidgin (it's like Trillian, a chat program) and my outlook e mail works.

I can ping www.google.com

I can't access any web sites, with opera or with IE.

IE says there is a problem with the HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP.

I have tried uninstalling my network card, and re setting it up, releasing and renewing the IP. Re setting the modem, and re setting the router.

All of the other computers in the house work correctly....

Suggestions?

Oh, It would be quicker to msg me on AIM or Yahoo, so i don't have to go from room to room.
