PSP guide: how to install custom firmware
if you have the fat psp, you need the 4.01 1.50 kernel add-on.
Configuration
Go into the PSP's recovery mode. (turn machine off, hold down R, turn on with R bumper held down)
in recovery ... configuration >> UMD Mode >> M33 driver -NO UMD-
Where to place games
Make sure to format your memory stick properly. When you do, you'll have an "ISO" folder at the root of the Memory Stick. Drag the .ISO / .CSO files in there.
