I'm in no position to sit here and list things about Texas that all of the han fanboys will find appealing. I'm just defending my home state, which I take pride in.

Texas has its perks, and issues just like every other state. My only issue is that everytime something bad happens there, everybody starts jumping on the state hate bandwagon.

I wonder why Austin and the surrounding areas are full of California refugees though.

Probably has something to do with it. That and lower taxes, no state income tax, better economy than most other states.

The quality of life in Cali, Texas, and Florida are very similar.
