thats all i do too and i did the http://speed-up-vista.classes.cnet.com or whatever the URL is... that helped big time. the only times i seem to bog down are when my spyware doctor or AV scan are running... and sometimes if i go to open an mpeg that was attached to an email, it wont open the file for lack of memory... that is kind of annoying too.

 

i guess my startup could be a tad quicker. ill look into more ram h:. thanks for the link . im new to vista, got any cool widgets?

i dont have any auxillary programs running... i have picasa media detector, my spyware doctor & AV, thats all. definitely do the link, i noticed the biggest change on startup.

 

2gb for my gaming rig
3gb for my laptop

 

2gigs on my laptop (which is maxed :ugh: )

2gigs on the desktop, looking to go 4gig real soon.
