Werd people are very unaware that kills gas mileage

They are the same people who complain at the pump. They go to the doctor and they're told to lose weight and wonder why they have heart disease a couple years later when they didn't lose the weight. Humans seem to have lost their ability to adapt to the environment, due to our ability to adapt the environment to us...guess that one's coming back to bite ush:

I have been hypermiling as best I can and I got 300 miles on 9.5 gal a couple weeks ago in the 2001 Neon. But yeah, I don't go over 70 in a 65, I draft trucks when I get the chance to, I coast down hills and decelerate slowly up hills and I try to use my brakes a little as possible. I also go as far as shutting my car off when I get to lights that I know will take longer than 30 sec. We use a ton of gas while idling. That is what makes the hybrids so efficient.

If you have an obdII port you should look into getting a scangaugeII helps tremendously with getting better fuel mileage. You will be amazed where fuel is spent.

my '06 Civic EX gets between 30-35mpg with mixed driving. I've gone about 375 miles on this tank and have about 1/4 tank left
