so i took today off...
needed a day away from work, especially given how overtired i have been for the past week....
and so i figured since i wasnt at work, it would be a good chance to take care of some stuff around the house and i made up a list.
im starting to think that i should have gone to work:
Fix Mower (needs battery, spark plugs, filters)
Cut the grass
Weed garden
Clean the squirrel room (more on this later)
Mop the bathroom floor
Clean the kitchen
Install a deadbolt on porch door
Get my pistol permit application packet
Get the Jetta inspected (2 months past due)
Hang handrail on stairs
this is just a list i threw together for myself, not like i HAVE to do any of it but damn, so much for a day of unwinding :hs:

not really, i dont have to do anything here if i dont want to.... whatever i do i can do at my own pace without any distractions or annoyances... its been kind of nice so far.... installed the deadbolt, i'll find another small project to occupy me for a little while, then i am going to meet holly for lunch
