Default Water for gas...seriously?

So...my brother-in-law tells me about his system and says he's gonna buy it to try it out.
I call :bs:...I've always believed that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

someone had reviewed it online, a credible auto magazine I want to say, and said that it indeeds voids the warranty. It, the review that is, also said that by using the water4gas you get the equivalent of 3-5mpg increase, but it seemed to start causing problems after the 2nd complete tank of gas cycled through.

How much gas (not gasoline) could you possibly get out of a mason jar of water? I've seen this on the news, I don't see how it could possibly work.

a lot. you separate the hydrogen from the oxygen, usually with electricity. but you're not making any net gain in energy.
